The support person said this is not from her fix or is an Windows update related issue. On restarting my pc after she ran what she ran, the Catalyst message no longer shows up, but then this "Failed to create ConexantĪudio Factory, the Smart Audio will now exit" message came up for the first time ever since the update couple weeks ago. I contacted Microsoft Answers via chat this Monday evening and the support person ran something to fix the Catalyst issue. An error message around 75% of time before Windows Starts up that says Windows encountered some error and will restart for me, and the error message is "Thread stuck in device driver".
